Uncle Fester Computer is great, accessories could be better
I like this computer a lot. I use the same model at work and this Dell is a workhorse (I work at a large company and some of the computers we use are shared and used 16 or more hours a day by people on opposite shifts). It meets my expectations and is a great price. I haven't noticed any problems yet that would be attributable to the fact it is refurbished. The only thing I can say that is negative is that the version I got came with a new mouse, keyboard and speakers, and they were pretty cheap brands and quality. I think I would have preferred to get a used/refurbished keyboard and mouse of a better quality. One reviewer said he had got a dell keyboard and I was hoping I would wind up with a Dell keyboard as well. I just stuck with my old mouse, but the keyboard I had previously was not a USB keyboard and the Optiplex only supports USB keyboards and does not have a DIN connector plug. The monitor and computer are great, the extras are good for backup parts, and getting the windows CD is nice.

I bought this computer as a gift for my daughter. Aside from a few small scratches which are cosmetic in nature and have nothing to do with the operation or quality of the computer overall, this was an excellent purchase. She is just thrilled with this computer. It's a very good computer for the price! She hasn't had any problems at all, to date. She says the speed is remarkable and the 19" screen is very nice. She had this particular computer on her Amazon wish list for a long time. I finally broke down and gave it to her for "Christmas in July". The shipping was fast, the carton wasn't dented when she recieved it. All of that being said, I would make a purchase from this vendor again. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Mistress Malice ( New Orleans ) Absolutely Awesome System!
I received this system as a gift about six months ago and I have not had any unexpected abnormal problems with it since that time. The speakers that come with this sytem were super crappy but everything else has exceeded my expectations. The speed on this system is superior to any system I have ever owned, but I am most happy about being able to get a system with xp installed instead of having vista shoved down my throat!

I couldn't be happier! This "refurbished" PC does everything promised. It delivers speed and has opened my computing horizons along with the addition of a new Satellite system. I don't give a dang about cosmetics what matters is function! This system is worth a great deal more than I paid for it. My highest recommendation!

Locks up all the time sent it in to fix it & it stell does the same thing i should of bought new But this was all i could aford Cant add anything to this Computer it has a 3.5 flopy that cant use , Not happy at all but have to dill with it .
